Barbara Richardson was born in 1944 and after graduating in Fine art from Chelsea School of Art she has been painting ever since. Working in oil and watercolour she is known for depiction of still life and portraiture.
She was elected to the RBA in 1996, has won prizes at their annual London Open exhibitions, including the De Laszlo Medal.
Her works make up part of many collections and she has exhibited at the RA Summer Exhibition, National Portrait Gallery and the New English Art Club among many other well known galleries and societies.
