Dennis Page
Back to thumbnails. Dennis Page was born in 1930 and studied art at Harrow and the Central School of Arts and Crafts. During his time at art school Ruskin Spear tutored him among other well-known painters of the day.
His national service was spent in RAF as a pilot. At the end of the war Dennis went into advertising, first as an art director/ copywriter, then as Creative Director. During this period he worked on a number of high profile campaigns including the Esso Tiger campaigns that ran world-wide.
Dennis is best known for his architectural and figurative watercolours. His ability to interpret light and movement has been noted by a number of well-known galleries. He has exhibited widely including the RWS, RI and in 2005 he designed and illustrated the book Winchester - an illustrated stroll through City and College with over 80 of his watercolours. His works can be found in many private collections world-wide.
