Janet Ledger’s misty industrial landscapes and paintings of people have a marvellous feeling for atmosphere and colour combined with a strong sense of observation of life. Nothing escapes her notice, whether it is people on holiday or at work, a city skyline at night or people out shopping in busy London streets. Her work is often compared to that of L.S. Lowry RA.
Janet exhibits on a regular basis with two London galleries, and has exhibited world-wide. Her work is highly collectable and is in many private and public collections including HRH Princess Margaret, The Tate Gallery, National Westminster Bank plc, Marks and Spencer plc, The National Coal Board and McDonalds plc.
