Jenny is best known for her love of colour. She uses bright but complex colour combinations to evoke mood and depth while keeping the overall feel high key and rich. Her degree in Fine Art Printmaking helps her to layer colour so there is much more to enjoy than the initial impact.
Having been sponsored to travel and paint through Kashmir into Ladakh as well as through Polynesia into Melanesia, these travels, as well as those through southern Europe, Cyprus and Morocco have influenced her work heavily.
She paints and draws while traveling and then brings her studies back into the studio where she creates her journeys in images that try to capture the essence and memory of place.
Her work is held in many public and private collections including that HM the Queen, the Maltese Government and the Chinese Qindao State Government, as well as the Royal Academy and The Sunday Times Competition. She has appeared as Art Expert for two series of Channel 4s Watercolour Challenge and you can see her work in print in Adventurous Watercolours as well as on a dvd of the same name.
